Mr. Randolph Goad, age 86, of Patrick County, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021. He was born in Patrick County on October 11, 1934 to the late Brockley Goad and Addie Martin Goad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jessie Goad. Mr. Goad worked for Panel Knitting, later Sara Lee with 20 years of service. He attended Minnie’s Chapel Wesleyan Church.

Mr. Goad is survived by his loving wife, of 61 years, Peggy DeHart Goad of the home; one sister, Mildred Hall of Stuart; one sister-in-law, Linda DeHart Turner of Stuart; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Mr. Goad will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor Gary Combs officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Minnie’s Chapel Wesleyan Church, c/o Dot Overby, 1873 Salem Hwy., Stuart, VA  24171.  Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is honored to be serving the Goad Family and online condolences may be made sent to www.moodyfunealservices.com.
