Mr. Louis H. Bryant Jr., age 63, of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at his home. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 7, 1958. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Bascom Slemp and Christine Utt Slemp. Louis loved his family dearly, and had a special relationship with his mama, grandpa Emmitt Utt, and his father- in- law, Henry Craig.
Mr. Bryant is survived by his loving wife, Lynette Craig Bryant of the home; one daughter, Jessica Lynn Bryant of Stuart; four sisters, Vickie Tepericidis of Castlewood, Virginia, Tammy Dodrill of Castlewood, Virginia, Becky Westfall of Sulton, West Virginia, and Teresa Bryant of Sulton, West Virginia; one brother, Chad Slemp (Missy) of Castlewood, Virginia, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mr. Bryant will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in Fairystone Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Dan Schelling officiating. Friends may come by Moody Funeral Home in Stuart on Sunday, October 17, 2021, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. to pay their final respects. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fairystone Volunteer Fire Department, 6687 Fairystone Park Hwy., Stuart, VA 24171.
