Mr. Wayne Coy Wilmoth, age 79 of Stuart, VA, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Woltz Hospice Home in NC. He was born in Elkin, NC on April 24, 1942, to the late Coy Eldon Wilmoth and Annie Mae Garris Wilmoth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Larry James Wilmoth.
Surviving is his wife, Mary Barker Wilmoth of the home; one daughter, Patricia Wilmoth of NC; two sons, Richard Wilmoth, and Shelton Wilmoth both of NC; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Eldon Wilmoth. Wayne loved to fish and was an avid NASCAR, Richard Petty fan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Picnic Shelter on Foley Road at 8:00 pm. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is assisting the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
