Mrs. Ann Boyd Bowling, age 72 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Patrick County on April 4, 1948 to the late Vance Conner and Clemmie Boyd Stultz.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel Bowling.  She enjoyed flowers, working in her garden, birds, and butterflies.  She loved decorating and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Stephanie Bowling of Stuart; three grandchildren, Autumn, Benjamin, and Noah Bowling; her step-father, John Stultz of Woolwine; her siblings, Roger and Katie Boyd of Meadows of Dan, Belle and Edward Pendleton of Woolwine, Richard Conner of Stuart, Randy and Debbie Conner, Sue Conner, Ellen and Charles Hylton all of Woolwine, Barbara Hughes of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held People’s Church of the Living God (located at 8136 Fairystone Park Highway, Bassett, VA 24055) on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Dwayne Pruitt officiating.  Memorials may be made to the Woolwine Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 138, Woolwine, VA 24185 or Smith River Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 122, Woolwine, VA 24185.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
