  Mrs. Lois Revia Deatherage Overby, age 76 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  She was born in Patrick County on March 16, 1945, to the late Banner William Deatherage and Revia Gunter Deatherage.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Deatherage.  Lois had worked for J.P Stevens and The Landmark Center.  She attended Five Forks Wesleyan Church.

Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Larry Overby of the home; a sister-in-law, Wanda Deatherage of Stuart; and her best friends, Nannie Ruth Lawson, and Peggy Jones.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Five Forks Wesleyan Church Cemetery with Mike Fain and Pastor Dave Henry officiating.  Memorials may be made to the Five Forks Wesleyan Church Cemetery Fund, 3778 Salem Hwy, Stuart, VA 24171 or to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd, Dobson, NC 27017.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
