
Nine students have recently completed Surry Community College’s Basic Blacksmithing course.
The students include Jason Arispe, Gauge Hodges, Joseph Johnson, Wade Marion, Jarred Marsh, Stacy Smith, Travis Smith, Haward Tharpe, and Jacob Tharpe.
The Basic Blacksmithing course is designed for beginner students to gain a solid foundation in blacksmithing fundamentals.
Surry Community College will be offering another section of Basic Blacksmithing this fall. The classes will run on Saturdays from October 3 to October 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
