Mike and April McPeak along with their children, Kennedie and Landon, cut the ribbon re-opening Noonies Grill Saturday. Approximately 300 people came to the restaurant for balloons, free hot dogs, and to check out race cars. Located on state Route 58 in Patrick Springs, Noonies closed in January, but McPeak re-opened the restaurant Monday. McPeak plans to soon purchase the restaurant from owner and previous manager Cheryl Keifer. Noonies has breakfast six days a week, and McPeak plans to expand the menu to include beans and cornbread, hamburger steaks, fish, barbecue, grilled chicken, soup and chili. Noonies hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Photo by Gary Plaster)
