Nora Frances Rorrer, age 81, of Patrick Springs, VA, was called to her Heavenly home, on October 20, 2024, at SOVAH Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. She was born January 22, 1943, to the late Greely and Nancy Rorrer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sammy Rorrer; and niece, Angela Rorrer.

Nora is survived by her brother, Bobby Rorrer (Donna); a nephew, Jared Rorrer (Candace); two grand nephews, Logan and Jase; and her fur baby Molly.

Nora was a 1962 graduate of Stuart High School.  She worked for R.J. Reynolds Hospital as an X-ray technician for over 40 years. She attended Patrick Springs Christian Church and was a friendly and humble child of God.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Allen-Bowling-Cruise Cemetery. She will lie in state at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.

Please—no food or flowers. Instead, take an elderly loved one or friend out for a meal or make a donation to charity of your choice.

The family is especially grateful to Nora’s caregivers Jeanette Fulp, Cindy Childress, Jessica Owens, Natalie Riggs, Emily Barley, Breanna Cooper, Tiffany Bowman and Jennifer Brown.
