Dinner at Wild Magnolia in Martinsville will come with a side of music on Thursday, May 19. From 6 to 9 p.m. the Patriot Players of Patrick Henry Community College will serve the food—and the tunes.
The singing fund-raiser features the hit songs of music legends throughout the decades. The line-up will include a menagerie of genres from Frank Sinatra to Freddie Mercury. All tips to the singing wait staff will go directly to support the Patriot Players—PHCC’s theater troupe that offers local students and community members the opportunity to gain onstage experience while learning about the theater profession.
Wild Magnolia is located at Patrick Henry Mall at 730 E. Church St. To make a reservation of eight or more people call (276) 666-6666.
The Patriot Players’ next show will be “The Color Purple.” Auditions will be held May 23 and 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information about auditions and upcoming events visit www.phccpatriotplayers.com or follow the PHCC Patriot Players on Facebook.
