The PC Varsity Golf Team advanced to regionals with a 2nd place finish at the 2C Sub-Region match at the Olde Mill Golf Club on September 26. The Cougars finished with a 362 behind winner Floyd County, who shot a 320.

Chance Corns led the Cougars with an 86. Kendra Worley shot a 90, Carter Gregory shot a 93, and Lauren Worley shot a 94.

“Carter played a solid round of golf today for us,” said Coach Philip Steagall. “I’m proud of all the hard work this team has put in this season, and I am looking forward to seeing them play in the 2C Region Tournament next week at Great Oaks Country Club.”
