The 2023 state champion Cougar baseball team received their championship rings during a ceremony held at halftime of the Patrick County and Floyd County football game.

The team and coaches were joined on the field by many past Cougar baseball players and coaches who returned to celebrate the first state championship in school history.

Before the football game, the team and coaches, past and present, took part in an open house at Cougar Field where they were able to see the improvements to the field and facilities over the years.
