Percy Otis Reynolds, age 80 of Spencer, Virginia passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Surry County, North Carolina. He was born March 27, 1942, in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Benjamin Jericho Reynolds and Nannie Kate Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnsey Franklin Reynolds and Jericho Delano Reynolds. Along with two sisters; Inez Reynolds and Goldie Reynolds and one Grandson; Terrence Hylton.
Otis accepted the Lord and had a change of heart before he died. Otis was a farmer but had many occupations during his life. He was a barber, He worked at Fielddcrest Mills for a number of years and was a Custodian at Hardin Reynolds Memorial School for several years.
He leaves to cherish his memories with one daughter; Sonya Barnwell of Spencer, Virginia, one Granddaughter; Kimberly (Andrew) Linster of Patrick Springs, Virginia. Four Great Grandchildren; Kamaury Hylton, Jaylin Linster, Darian Linster, & Joseph Linster. Five Brothers; Robert (Elsie) Reynolds of Collinsville, Virginia, Jesse (Mae) Reynolds of Texas, Samson (Shirley) Reynolds of Patrick Springs, Virginia. Wayne Reynolds of Arlington, Virginia. Two sisters; Jennie Reynolds of Arlington, Virginia, Mary Randolph of Falls Church, Virginia and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Old Mount Nebo Church Cemetery with Pastor Melton Roberson and Ronnie Carter officiating.
