McKenna Hamrick as Natalie Haller and Robbie Hendrix as Chad perform in the Patriot Players’ next show, All Shook Up, which opens August 11. Meet the cast and see them perform August 3, during a singing dinner fundraiser at Wild Magnolia. Both the play and the fundraiser feature some of the most beloved tunes of the 1950s and ‘60s.

Join the cast from the Patriot Players’ next show “All Shook Up” for a hip-swiveling dinner and show on Aug. 3. The cast from this Elvis-inspired 1950s musical will be singing and serving at Wild Magnolia from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Tips to the singing wait staff support the Patriot Players–PHCC’s theater troupe that enables students and community members to gain onstage experience while learning about the theater profession. To make a reservation for eight or more people call (276) 666-6666. Wild Magnolia is located at Patrick Henry Mall at 730 E. Church St. in Martinsville.

Tickets will be for sale that evening at Wild Magnolias and are also available at the Visitor Center in uptown Martinsville and at the switchboard on the PHCC campus. Tickets can also be purchased online at phccpatriotplayers.com/tickets. Tickets are $15 in advance and will be $20 at the door.

The play follows the antics of a rabble-rousing, rock-n-roll roustabout and reveals how a little dancing can help a whole town change its tune.

The story is all new, but the hits are all Elvis. The play is considered PG-13 due to some language and adult themes. Don’t be cruel, and don’t miss the show in PHCC’s Walker Fine Arts Theatre. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, August 11 – 12; 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, August 17 – 19; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 13 and Saturday, August 19.

The cast includes: McKenna Hamrick as Natalie Haller, Robbie Hendrix as Chad, Bryan Dunn as Jim Haller, Erica Becker as Sylvia, Bridgette Burnette as Lorraine, Isaiah Young as Dennis, Demi Richardson as Miss Sandra, Michelle Graham as Mayor Matilda Hyde, Matt Viola as Dean Hyde, and Doug Kidd as Sheriff Earl.  The Ensemble include: Michael Arthur, Chelsea Baker, Stacey Davis, Logan Fain, Erica Gilley, Eryn Gresham, Nelson Harper, Kristina Hudson, Alyson Kidd, Krista Martin, Lauren Mixter, Melissa Pendleton, Madison Stowe, and Merrie Graham.
