Janice Woods was named Volunteer of the Month for her dedicated service at the Reynolds Homestead.
A lifelong resident of Patrick County, Woods dedication to Reynolds Homestead spans more than a decade. After retiring from an 18-year career with Stanley Furniture Company, she has devoted her time to serving as a volunteer and docent for the past 12 years and earning her the honor of 2024 Volunteer of the Year.
Whether she’s welcoming visitors, sharing her love of history, or driving the bus for COA trips and student visits to Virginia Tech, Woods brings enthusiasm and care to everything she does. A Master Gardener and active member of her church, she especially enjoys highlighting the Reynolds family’s commitment to educating both daughters and sons.
