The Rise and Shine Market is a youth-led program with the goal of cultivating young Appalachian entrepreneurs and providing an inspiring venue to showcase their talents and trades.

The market will be held on the second Saturday of each month from July to September from 8 a.m. to noon. Set up begins at 8 a.m. and the market will open at 9 a.m.

Youngsters from ages 8 to 18 are invited to participate in the market. Multi-level marketing and direct sales vendors are not permitted.

Performers including dance, music, theater are encouraged to play for tips. All types of vendors are encouraged such as arts, crafts, baked goods, produce, etc.

A featured workshop at each market, with Elk Creek Flower Farm set to kick off the series and hold a workshop on flower growth, arrangement, and more on Saturday, July 14.

A vendor application is required and must be turned in to Reynolds Homestead, along with a $3 check, to reserve a booth. Applications are available at: https://www.facebook.com/riseandshinemarketPC/

Checks must be made payable to Treasurer of Virginia Tech.
