Mrs. Robyn Gail Blevins (Kuser), age 63, of Patrick Springs, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019. She is survived by her loving husband, David Kuser of the home. She was born August 11, 1956 in Havre de Grace, Maryland, to the late Manuel “Jack” Blevins, and her surviving mother, Jean Hines Blevins of Sparta, N.C.

She is also survived by her brother, Michael Blevins and wife, Valerie of Patrick Springs; sisters, Sherry Cowan and husband, Ron of Patrick Springs, and Pamela Gorham of Martinsville; nephews, Brad Halsey, Michael Gorham, Kyle Gorham, Travis Gorham; and one niece, Katelyn Gorham, all of Maryland.

She leaves behind the animals she loved; two potbelly pigs; Niki and Daisy; two horses; Cheyenne and Abby; two cats; and her beloved dog, Chi-Chi.

Mrs. Blevins was a dedicated animal lover and the founder of Patrick Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), which still operates today, and has saved the lives of many animals in Patrick County.
