`Round the Mountain will hold its next Jury Session on Tuesday, March 8. Members whose work pass the jury process will be eligible to have their work for sale at Heartwood: Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Gateway and to participate in other special RTM exhibits.
Deadline for applications is February 19.
There is a $10 non-refundable application fee due for each application submitted. This fee must be received before the application(s) will be considered.
A completed jury application is required for each media and/or technique. Applications may be mailed, hand delivered or submitted via an on-line application by February 19. No emailed or faxed applications will be accepted.
Do not submit work or images with application.
Eligible applicants must deliver their work to the RTM office in Abingdon the week of February 29. Details on delivering work will be provided upon jury confirmation.
All work submitted for the jury process must be available for sale. Once the jury session is complete, the buyer for Heartwood will be on hand to consider work that has passed.
The buyer may decide to take some, all, or none of the five pieces submitted for jury. The majority of craft items for sale at Heartwood are taken on consignment.
Only juried members of `Round the Mountain: Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Network are eligible to have their work considered for sale at Heartwood. Being a juried member also gives artisans the opportunity to demonstrate at Heartwood, represent RTM and Southwest Virginia at festivals and shows and participate in other special exhibits.
Mail or deliver items to ‘Round the Mountain, One Heartwood Circle, Abingdon, VA 24210.
Contact Diana Blackburn at dblackburn@roundthemountain.org or (276) 492-2410 with questions, or go to https://www.myswva.org/rtm or https://www.facebook.com/RoundtheMountain for information or to download an application form.
