Weather permitting, starting at 9 a.m. Monday, May 18, a section of Virginia 676 (East Fork Road) between Nature Trail and Johnson Creek bridge in Patrick County will be closed to through traffic for a pipe replacement. Residents will have access to their homes on either side of the closure.
Through traffic can detour around the closure by using Virginia 672 (Johnson Creek Road) to Virginia 677 (Willis Gap Road) to Virginia 673 (Sky View Drive). Motorists are encouraged to note signs and electronic message boards in the area.
Work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 29, weather permitting.
