Ms. Shirley Ann Hunt, age 64 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Winston-Salem, NC to the late James William Hunt and Joanna Mae Clark Hunt.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janie Holmes, Mae Burger; and three brothers, Bobby, Steve, and James Bervie Hylton.  Shirley attended God’s Family Temple Christian Church in Mt. Airy, NC.

Surviving are her daughter, Amanda Hunt and special friend, Chris Wimbush of Stuart; two grandchildren, Aydan Hunt, Cayden Hunt; two sisters, Virginia Carlene Floyd of Columbus, OH, Willie Mae Phillips of Greensboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Elder Harold Small officiating.  Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery on Mt. Calvary Church Rd.  A wake will be held from 12:30 to 1:00 at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
