Dean Smith will be the featured musician at The Rural Music Coalition on Monday, May 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Historic Star Theater in Stuart.
Smith plays all the stringed instruments and writes songs.
The Rural Music Coalition opens the stage to young and old area musicians on the second Monday of each month at The Historic Star Theater, 318 Patrick Ave., in downtown Stuart.
Les Moore plays rhythm and blues music each month. The F.A.R.M. T.E.A.M. will also perform.
Food and drinks will be available from a food truck.
A $3 donation helps support musicians; performing musicians are admitted free. For information call Minnie Moore at (276) 694-6518.
