<img class="alignright wp-image-36174" src="https://theenterprise.net/wp-content/uploads/sites/23/2020/06/police_light_1593098167.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="106" /> <p class="yiv4895152421MsoNoSpacing">At 7:28 p.m. on Monday (July 5), Virginia State Police (VSP) responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 400 block of Trents Store Lane, according to a release from the VSP.</p> <p class="yiv4895152421MsoNoSpacing">A 2013 Polaris ATV was traveling north in the roadway when it had a mechanical failure, ran off the left side of the road, overcorrected and traveled back into the road where it overturned.</p> <p class="yiv4895152421MsoNoSpacing">The driver, Gary W. Jones, 45, of Spencer, died at the scene.</p> <p class="yiv4895152421MsoNoSpacing">The operator was not wearing a helmet, according to the release.</p> <p class="yiv4895152421MsoNoSpacing">The crash remains under investigation.</p>
