
Surry Community College is offering Notary Public classes in March. Classes will be held at The Yadkin Center, 1001 College Drive, Yadkinville.
Notary Public classes are designed to prepare students to become a Notary Public in North Carolina. Topics include legal, ethical, and procedural requirements of the Notary Act. Upon completion of this course with a passing grade of 80 percent, a person is eligible to make application with the N.C. Secretary of State office. Tuition is $71 plus the cost of the book.
The Notary Public classes will be held on the following dates and times. One session will be held Wednesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 5, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and a second session will be held Wednesday, March 18, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
