Varsity Girls Get Win at James River

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team traveled to James River, Friday, February 13, where they defeated the Lady Knights 34-30. The Lady Cougars outscored James River in 3 of the 4 quarters, holding on to the lead for the close win. Kendra Worley had 17 points in the game as well as 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 7 deflections, and 2 steals. Chloe Hubbard had 10 points, 6 rebounds, 2 deflections, and 2 steals. Sheyan Lester had 4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 deflections, and 1 steal. Journey Moore had 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 deflections, and 4 steals in the win. Martina Hubbard added 2 points, 2 rebounds, 3 deflections, and 1 steal.
