Track members win at meet

The Varsity Track Team traveled to Tunstall Thursday, April 7.  

Placing 1st in the Girls 4×400 were Irene Smith, Skyler Stevens, Mackenzie Williams, and Lauren Worley. Placing 1st in the Boys 4×800 relay were Riley Brim, Dylan Quesenberry, Moi Cisneros, and William Overby. Brim, Stephen Spencer, Cisneros, and Quesenberry placed 2nd in the Boys 4×400. 

The Middle School team hosted the track meet Wednesday, April 6. 

Kendra Worley placed 1st in the Girls 400 Meter Dash.  Callie Wood came in 5th, and Abby Hairston was 6th. Wood was the winner in the Girls 800 Meter Run, and in the Boys 800 Meter, Glenn Stovall was the 3rd place finisher while Wheeler Helms finished 5th. 

In the Boys 1600 Meter Run Wheeler Helms placed 5th. In the 4×100 Meter the PC team, Avone Kidd, Ryan Martin, Aeden Frazier, and Hunter Martin, placed 3rd. In the Boys 400 Meter Dash, Aeden Frazier and Noah Hiatt were 3rd and 4th, respectively.  Avone Kidd placed 3rd in Discus. Abby Hairston was 2nd in the Girls Long Jump. The Boys 4×400 Meter Relay Team, consisting of Stovall, Hiatt, Eli Hairston, and Jed Young took home 1st place.
