Varsity Volleyball continues winning streak

The Lady Cougars hosted Bassett on August 30, and were defeated in 3 sets: 25-20, 25-17, and 25-19. Marissa Bentley had 8 kills, 4 blocks, 4 assists, and 2 aces. Samantha had 8 kills 7 digs, and 2 aces. Lilly Byers put up 24 assists, 9 digs, and 4 aces. Journey Moore had 15 digs and 2 aces, and Kaylee Towler added 6 aces. 

On September 1, Patrick County traveled to Chatham, winning 3-1 with scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-11, and 26-24. Byers had 35 assists, 8 kills, 13 digs, and 6 aces. Harris had 18 kills, 17 digs, and 2 aces. Moore added 18 digs and 6 assists. The Cougars are now 5-0 and will travel to Tunstall Tuesday.
