Mrs. Donna Gail Rorrer Collins

Mrs. Donna Gail Rorrer Collins, age 64, of Stuart went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy, NC. She was born in Martinsville on May 10, 1957. Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her father, John William “Chappy” Rorrer and her grandmother, Fannie Rorrer. Gail was known as a very dedicated employee of VF Corporation in Martinsville for many years. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mama, and mother-in-law; especially known for being the best granny anyone could ever ask for.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, David Collins of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, David Wayne Collins and wife, Susie of Stuart, and Randall William Collins and wife, Michelle of Stuart; and granddaughters, Brooke Collins and Caitlyn Collins.

A graveside service was held for Mrs. Collins in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastors Mark Collins and Danny Redman.  Flowers are appreciated or memorial donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church, 1863 Clark House Farm Road, Stuart, Virginia 24171.
