Roger Lee Puckett, 59, of Ararat, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C.
He was born in Forsyth County, N.C., on September 24, 1956 to Stella Slate Puckett and the late Aubra Edison Puckett.
Puckett was a farmer.
He is survived by his mother, Stella Slate Puckett; one sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Robert Mears; brothers, Robert Puckett, Larry Puckett, and Bennie Puckett; a special nephew, Jeremy Puckett; and a special cousin, Lesa Samuels.
A graveside service was held Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Bowman Puckett Family Cemetery with the Rev. Darren Slate officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
