Vera Josephine Biggs, 80, of Patrick Springs, died on Monday, June 27, 2016.
She was born in Patrick County on September 13, 1935 and was a daughter of the late William Henderson Biggs and the late Lelia Hodge Biggs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Junior Henry Biggs; and a sister, Shirley Smith.
Surviving are one daughter, Ellen Jackie Walker; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, William David Biggs, Kenneth Donald Biggs and Robbie Biggs; and one sister, Wilma Ruth Deal.
The funeral service was held on Saturday at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Calvin Wright officiating. Burial followed the service in Old Center Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
